Dundee's maritime history is splendidly represented through two of the world's most famous wooden ships, permanently docked on Dundee's waterfront with the River Tay.

Follow Captain Scott to Antarctica on board RRS Discovery, experience the polar wind chill with guided tours, and visit the cafe and gift shop afterwards.

HM Frigate Unicorn, the oldest British-built ship still afloat, is berthed in Victoria dock. It's a 46-gun warship, and one of the most atmospheric and original in the world. Check out the nearby designer retail village at City Quay.
